“What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.” – Nelson Mandela

The Chief of the SA National Defence Force (C SANDF), Gen Solly Shoke declared the whole month of July 2017 a Mandela Month in honour of the former statesman and celebrating the lifetime of service the late President of South Africa Nelson Mandela gave to South Africa and the world.

On Tuesday, 18 July 2017, as part of Nelson Mandela International Day commemoration the Military Command Council (MCC) together with members from Logistic Division, dedicated their 67 minutes painting, tiling, plastering, replacing the old building materials, removing rubbles and cleaning the South African Force Institute (SAFI) Business Centre in Thaba Tshwane.
